Mike Barnes, PE, LEED ® AP | Vice President / Director of Construction
When you're looking for someone who has walked a mile in your shoes, look no further than Mike. With experience as an owner, contractor, consultant and designer, he has seen construction from a multitude of angles and enjoys every one of them.
Since joining Pease in 2005, Mike has performed many different roles including construction services director, marketing director, COO, and CFO. He has helped lead the firm through the biggest transformation in its history with its recent merger with LaBella Associates.
In his spare time, you can find this former NC State mascot at Wolfpack football games or helping out in the community. As a result of his efforts, Mike was nominated for Mentor of the Year by the Mayor's Mentoring Alliance and was selected as a 2010 recipient of the Charlotte Business Journal’s Top Forty Under Forty.
Mike holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelors of Science in both Civil Engineering and Construction Management from North Carolina State University.
